Appreciation, The Gulf War / Operation Desert Storm

Thanks for this map! To be fair it was always the most obvious choice for a Middle Eastern map, two major all out wars: 1980s Iraq-Iran War and 1991 Gulf War.

I have nothing against "anti-terror operations", but let's be fair - all out conflicts, with both sides using tanks, artillery, air power, logistics, SAMs etc. are where DCS shines. 1950s Korea, 1960s Vietnam, 1970s Israel-Syria, 1980s Iraq-Iran or Fulda Gap or GIUK, 1991 Gulf War.

I too look forward to this map although I'd suggest to wait with appreciation. Current (ex. PG) and future maps (Afghanistan) show they can be severly limited in modeled areas and available airbases thus shirinking possible wars into local battles.

Good luck with THE MAP 

Let's not forget the battle that could have happened on the North German Plain in addition to the Fulda Gap in the event of a war between NATO and the Warsaw Pact.

Afghanistan is enough for me in the War-on-Terror and War on Isis scenarios, I will wait for the "south expansion", however I wonder what comes first, expansion or DCS Earth.
