Hi,

Just wondering if anyone else has been having issues with the 10th April 2024 update regarding NADIR waypoints?

I played a campaign just hours before the update dropped and it was working fine, then afterwards the waypoints were all over the place, almost similar to the ADF issue which has already been reported.

This happens on Cold or Hot starts and on different maps.

Included tracks were both Hot starts to rule out anything I may have missed from the Cold Starts - I placed a Waypoint from the Mission Editor roughly half a km away from the Gazelle and in both cases they started drifting badly almost immediately.  On the second track you can see I end up flying TOWARDS the needle and the distance INCREASES.

Hope someone can help, thanks.

I can confirm the HSI "NADIR Double Arrow" no longer points to the correct WP azimuth.

Switching the NADIR's Parameter Selector to TPS/CAP (WP Estimated Time / Heading) - the NADIR's WP heading reads correctly, so the fault is with the HSI needle.

I also confirmed the HSI's Waypoint needle was incorrect in a Caucasus Mission with zero wind.

As reported here, the NADIR needle bug only appears to effect the SA-342L version.

Also having the same issue, the nadir arrow on HSI is all over the place, sometimes completely backwards, Distance and Heading on the NAdir Display including the ETA to waypoint is correct. Adding screens and track in case it helps.null

Just stumbled across this problem, so a workaround would be to switch to "TPS/CAP" and read the correct heading to next waypoint from there?

Yes.

Note that the "NADIR" HSI needle ATM is giving readings relative to the airframe i.e. if the waypoint is 90° to the left it reads 270° (WEST), if the waypoint is 90° to the right it reads 90° (EAST) and with the waypoint directly ahead it reads 0° (NORTH).
