Hi All,

im wondering that the delay works sometimes and in a new game it wont work.

Using OV (ohne Verzögerung) the bomb explodes at impact, as it should.

Switching to MV it also explodes at impact on the ground.

Tried it from different altitudes, it wont work.

Some weeks ago i tried the same and it worked as it shoulde, but yesterday it again dont works.

Any ideas ?

What fuze and settings are you using on your bombs? (click on the orange triangle when you select a bomb).

Also, attach some short tracks if possible.

Hi,

no idea, i never changed somethuing there.

But what you think i have to select there ? Will try it then today and let you know the result.

Perhaps your mV didn't arm due to the short flying time, so the Vz worked, then you got a long fuze.

I was surprised to find that there is a problem indeed when you use the SC250 bomb. You can only get the "Zünder 25C" fuse in ME, and you cannot obtain a short delay in ME that would prevent your fighter from being shredded in a low-level bombing attack. This same problem exists with the FW-190A8. When you use the SC500 bomb you can get a short delay that's ok tactically and keeps you safe. Again, that's true for the 3 German fighters.
The best short delay is with the SC50, but that's not available with the Bf-109.
The problem with the SC250 seems to be recent. I'm sure it was working ok in the past.
