I’ve recently updated my flight control mappings for the rather lovely EE.

Can I simply copy and paste those control files into the relevant folder for the CE and BE (pilot)?

Has anyone done it and had issues?

I have not done it, but the command bindings seem to be almost the same, so it could be possible. Even so, I would not recommend doing this, because it can lead to binding issues that can be hard to debug. Pinging @Vibora to have his opinion, because I too would like to know, as I have not yet binded my Hotas to the BE. 🙂

I've done it. I bound all my HOTAS controls for the CE and copy and pasted them to the EE and BE. I haven't had any issues. There are some small differences in the other controls but all the main HOTAS bindings that you need seem to be identical.

Disclaimer - having said that, I am only mainly flying the CE in anger at the moment on ECW and really only fly the other variants for for leisure in free flight, not really operating the systems, so haven't noticed any differences in weapon systems bindings for that reason.

Basically, bindings are the same. Both versions, CE and EE, share same input lua files. The only difference is the INS panel which is absent in CE.
