Ddg1500 Posted May 6, 2024 Posted May 6, 2024 Hello, i wish heatblur could solve the physical issue of the arresting wire drag up the whole tomcat sometimes after carrier landing, this is simply not realistic compare with real life as I haven't see any real footage of tomcat being so, so please fix it
Q3ark Posted May 6, 2024 Posted May 6, 2024 Dude can you elaborate on that, it’s not clear what you’re talking about
Frosty2124 Posted May 6, 2024 Posted May 6, 2024 you'll need to provide tracks for us to better understand what you're referring to

Make sure you’re not putting your brakes on before the wire has released. It will pull you back a little, this is normal just let it roll, if you try to stop it with the brakes then it’ll pull your nose up in the air. 2

You won't see it on video 'cause no sane pilot would try that. The correct procedure is to touchdown, go MIL on throttle for 2 sec, if you're stopped properly by the wire you move throttle back to idle, let it back off, hook up, flaps up, wings aft and roll away from the trap area by director commands. No brakes are involved before the wire is off the hook. 1 1 Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria
