TG might not be big on publicity, but they're working on it. While the Wags' usual line wasn't said, the idea is there.

TrueGrit hasn't been working on the plane for a long time now since Heatblur took over the project as stated in the announcement post on this forum. TrueGrit/Adams Simulation is responsible for SME related matters currently, as they are deeply rooted in the Eurofighter community and have a lot of Ex-Pilots and crew.

I think the bigger problem is that those refinements often make tutorials or manuals incorrect and they then don't get fixed promptly (or at all) which then creates problems for people acquiring the module later.

This is just a personal opinion but I find the way Heatblur communicates quite frustrating: giving us a trailer and some screenshots 4 years ago and then nothing... Even if the plane is taking longer than expected to develop, it would be nice to have some news on the progress (other screenshots or messages from the developers about their work). We are all looking forward to having this beast in our hands!! In any case, thanks to HB for their work.

Just to make sure, while this might be your personal estimation, such a statement has not been made by any official sources. There is no correlation betwen the two modules in any way. I cant speak for ED and their F-35, but the EF releases when its done as simple as that

I don't know, man... I somehow have a bad feeling about the F-35 in 2026.

We may be getting news soon, I think there will be an update on the EF after Heatblur drops the update for most of their modules they wrote about on their discord.

So... Maybe September/ October.

But the question can be raised why does HB communicate in Discord and not here, in the official ED forum? I hate Discord and try avoiding it wherever I can.

When there is some actual big news, we usually share it on all our channels (Discord, this forum, Facebook, Instagram, ...). Those are just general newsletters called "dev-shoutouts" and is mostly intended for people who want to follow HB a bit closer and stay in touch with the devs - which is what Discord is generally used for.

Until then everything you may read essentially boils down to "we are working on it, its there when its there".

May be not the answer you want.

I rather prefer quality over time and do not like to be misused as beta tester for a non mature product. I rather hope that HB makes it as good and realistic as the F-4E.
