Qcumber Posted May 27, 2024 Posted May 27, 2024 4 hours of flight time now and, apart from a few VR niggles that I working through, this module has lived up to all expectations for quality. My only real complaint is that the cockpit looks so good I keep getting distracted and crash. Look at the screws and paint detail. You can see brush marks! 2 PC specs: 9800x3d - rtx5080 FE - 64GB RAM 6000MHz - 2Tb NVME - (for posts before March 2025: 5800x3d - rtx 4070) - VR headsets Quest Pro (Jan 2024-present; Pico 4 March 2023 - March 2024; Rift s June 2020- present). Super Grover Posted May 30, 2024 Posted May 30, 2024 (edited) You should check which lamps are 'push to test, rotate to dim'. Sorry, I couldn't resist - that's an inside joke - we put surprisingly high effort into getting all those 'push to test, rotate to dim' lights correct, including understanding which lights are like that, then understanding how they work - because they use mechanical dimming instead of electric/resistance - and finally modelling them correctly by our magnificent artists. Really, I suggest you try finding them all and adjusting their brightness - that's a very relaxing activity. Slippa Posted May 30, 2024 Posted May 30, 2024 It does look good, inside and out, front and back . I really haven't used the jets I have, barely flown em and systems are all still gobbledegook to me. I was planning to learn the Hornet, Tomcat and Eagle systems, oh and the Harrier but no. Too many screenshots of this and I had to grab it. I'm going through the training and have had a few little tear abouts in it. Jester bailing out is my G-warning at the minute . I'm loving it but he may be psychologically damaged so I'll try to rein it in a bit and stop swapping seats for the look round 1

I felt right at home, working in the past with a US made AD system which basically used the same press to test lamps, backlight caps, switches and so forth. Guess I had a bright grin on my face, dimming one of the lamps and seeing you got it so right. 1

I made sure to bind some of the lights. Quite cosy sitting in there with the dim red glow on . Thanks to all of ya for bringing us this, we all get a phantastic phriday tomorrow. 1
