The sheer number of built-in kneeboard pages (45?!) coming with the module can be a challenge to deal with if you rely heavily on your own, custom made pages as VR pilots normally do. To clean up / declutter the appropriate DCS Systems kneeboard subfolder is only a temporary solution because its contents get restored after every repair/update.

I had the same issue - try kneeboard builder.

Kneeboard Builder for DCS World (dcskneeboardbuilder.com)

Can that remove the default pages?

Thamiel.  I have already asked if it was possible to have the KBs as a tickbox "option", but they didn't seem to like that idea.

A pity but I can understand their reluctance to use that approach. They went great lengths to make additional information available to the pilot during flight (e.g. the manual, KB stack). But to flood the KB with lots of pages about very specific information you dont need except in certain/rare circumstances is quite invasive. If I'm going to need information about how to intercept a bandit efficiently I will research and will come up with my own kneeboard page - if I need one at all.

I dont have the time to read (or click through for that matter) 3 pages of possible intercept procedures - while sitting in a cockpit with things changing every second Im reading. Its not feasible.

The authority to setup that source of information should stay with the pilot.

I wish ED could implement a set of default pins for the KB, one for each page source: The aircraft’s, the Terrain’s, the Map, the User’s KB at saved games, that would make much easier to go straight to the KB section you need.

A trick I used in some modules is to make my own pages appear at the end instead (prefixing the file names with zzz or similar).
Then one can navigate backwards instead of forward and access the page instantly from the starting page :)

That's how I do it as well, pre-fix with a letter so pages are grouped as I like them.

I second this. I always need to scroll through the wall of pages which are not neccecary (for me) just to jump between the pages i need (esp waypoints) and the pages i inserted on my own like ATO document and mission details.
