Whats max range. I have made kills from CPG seat over 9.5km. Thought it was 8km (it is if your pilot and George gunning)

It's 9999 m.

Well, if the missile has energy it can go and hit stuff farther than 9999m (that's max ranging the computer will show, but laser energy doesn't magically stop at 9999m). Although I'm not sure if the missile's battery life (if it has any) is the limit on how long the seeker is looking for the laser.

Lima Hellfires, I don't remember hitting anything past 8-8.5km.

Bottom line is, there's no hard limit down to a meter. It all depends on the circumstances.

In game, missile will not see your laser beyond 9999.

I have hit targets at 9.8.

45 seconds life time, with that you can cover about 10km, sometimes more, sometimes less

actually, you can laser targets up to 15km with the Apache

its quite possible if you are flying high and set LOAL to high, you then give the missile a higher trajectory and can thus cover a longer distance. George on the other hand will not fire at anything past 8km
