krad_1337 Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 Practice bombs such as the BDU-45B and BDU-33 cannot be dropped using CCIP. When selecting CCIP mode, the jet goes into 'AUTO' mode. Steps to Reproduce: Load up an FA18C with both BDU-45B and BDU-33 bombs. head to a bombing range, arm the jet. Stores Page -> BDU-45B or BDU-33 boxed; Click 'Mode' -> Click 'CCIP'. Expected: CCIP symbology in the HUD. incl 'CCIP' letters. Actual: AUTO symbology in the HUD, incl 'AUTO' letters, countdown to auto release.
Tholozor Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 Do you have a TGT point designated? REAPER 51 | Tholozor VFA-136 (c.2007): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3305981/ Arleigh Burke Destroyer Pack (2020): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3313752/
Solution Razor18 Posted June 2, 2024 Solution Posted June 2, 2024 Yup, probably that. With a designated target, you can only drop in AUTO. TO use CCIP, undesignate any target. 1
rob10 Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 And I actually dropped a BDU-45 this afternoon in CCIP after undesignating so I can confirm it is working as intended in the current build.
