Mr. Farknocker Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 Stupid question here. I have my throttles mapped to my Winwing throttle levers but i can't seem to move them out of the locked position at startup. I hold the ignition switch down and then move the throttle lever forward but the levers don't move. Am I missing a step?
Mr. Farknocker Posted June 2, 2024 Author Posted June 2, 2024 disregard. I figured it out. hold right-control + end to unlock the right throttle lever
diego999 Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 Left click on the ignition and keep holding while you right click the idle detent pad. 1
Phantom711 Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 The WW Orion throttle has underlying buttons on the throttle axis, that you can assign to the respective postions (IDLE detent off/on). Whenever I'm backseating the throttles always stay in the locked back position, not moving with the pilot's throttle. EDIT: Should have said this more clearly: I'm backseating for someone else. Art-J Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 ^ Probably not. If I recall the manual correctly throttles in both pits are set in such a way that only pilot can start the engines or enable afterburner. So I'd guess you have to unlock them in front seat first, then switch to rear. 1 i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.

Phantom711 Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 So what you are saying is, that the throttles between pilot and WSO are not synchronized and they don‘t move in the backseat, even though the pilot is moving them? vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs. Join the vCVW-17 Discord.
