JetCat Posted June 14, 2024 Posted June 14, 2024 This is really a TRUE enthusiast, writing a 700 or 800 page long manual. Impressive!! I am sure he will update his Magnum Opus some day; in the meantime it is necessary to watch some YouTube tutorials and write a few own notes when new cockpit system functions and radar functions are added 1
LuseKofte Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 What Chuck been doing for years is incredible time consuming. He just might got a lot of real life things to do. This is not the only sim he has supported. What a effort he has put in 1
SharpeXB Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 Yes the guides are indeed nice. I cannot fathom why someone would put so much work into something that’s just a hobby though. One aspect that’s a problem with these is as far as I’ve seen they don’t highlight or track revisions. It makes going back to review updates quite difficult and limits their use. The official manuals are much better in this regard. 1 i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5

Yes, that’s why I find the official guides much more useful. They have the revisions indicated. That’s fairly common practice for technical manuals so someone doesn’t have to read the whole thing again with every update. As nicely done as Chuck’s Guides are they’re missing this very important feature.
