=DROOPY= Posted June 14, 2024 Posted June 14, 2024 Not sure what happened to cause the issue. Was working fine up until a few days ago. I crank up the brightness in the respective aircraft (F-16/F-18) and it's barely readable, and right eye only. And it just so happens that due to an old eye injury, I'm left eye dominant now. dcs.log Unique aviation images for the passionate aviation enthusiast: Fb: FighterJetGeek Aviation Images - Home | Facebook IG: https://www.instagram.com/the_fighterjetgeek/ Aviation Photography Digest: AviationPhotoDigest.com/author/SMEEK9
The_Nephilim Posted June 16, 2024 Posted June 16, 2024 I thought there was a setting to switch which eye it is in?? =DROOPY= Posted June 16, 2024 Author Posted June 16, 2024 (edited) I don't recall ever being on the proper page, let alone actually changing that setting, but I will double check that and attach screenshots when able. Chief_Biv Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 Go to the Special tab and select A-10Cii. Then HMD render "both eyes" for a clearer render of the HMD display. It's similar for every aircraft equipped with HMD. Did as Chief_Biv stated... Not sure how, but all JHMCS aircraft were placed in "right eye only" status. How does that even happen?! Thank you kindly for taking the time to look into it... Much appreciated. Chief_Biv Posted June 23, 2024 Posted June 23, 2024 No problems. The single eye setting is the default DCS setting for these aircraft. It could be because in actual fact the real aircraft HMD's only put the image in front of a single eye. 1 PC Hardware: i9-12900k, RTX 3080 10GB, 32GB DDR5 4400MHz, NVME.2 Drives, Alienware 38" 3840x1600 144MHz Monitor, TrackIR Pro Clip, Pimax Crystal Flight Controls: Winwing Orion 1 FA-18 Stick and Throttle HOTAS / Logitech Rudder Pedals DCS Modules: Too many to list after the 15 year sale
