topol-m Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 I don`t understand anything from your language :( but i like swedish armament. You surely make great aircraft - Draken, Viggen, Gripen and other pieces of military technology (Stridsfordon 90, Archer artillery, etc.). Too bad we still don`t have a realistic simulator of swedish fighters. I hope DCS series will make possible to mod the cockpits so that we could finally have some serious swedish air power to play with :joystick: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

john_X Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 how many polys do you have? with and without the damaged model? and how many polys do you have in gripen mod too?
VireVolte_tigrou Posted August 29, 2009 Author Posted August 29, 2009 The Viggen is built with about 40.000 polys at LoD0, without DM. Counting Gripen's polys is not so simple, cause the models includes single and two-seater plus many features. But you can consider it has about 35.000.
Horizon Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 This skin pleeeeeease shaggy!! Heh, I want it for existing flyables as well too :P A friend of mine did that model. He's from Sweden and if you want to come in contact with him you can PM me. He also did an excellent model of the Draken >

As much I like the looks of your Viggen and Gripen, Tigrou, the Draken is the one that really makes me excited! Viggen follows Gripen and then... ;)

Horizon Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Wow that is awesome! Has that model been put into action in some simulator? As much I like the looks of your Viggen and Gripen, Tigrou, the Draken is the one that really makes me excited! Viggen follows Gripen and then... ;) The model hasn't been put into any sim that I know of... yet. He's busy doing this > http://www.martinoberg.se/portfolio/vm/ at the moment. :) tigrou: Looking forward to your model av both Viggen and Draken! Sweet childhood memories from when we lived on northern Gotland/Fårö and both of those fighters flew daily over the beaches, showing presence and power. Nothing like the sound of a Viggen going into full afterburner while climbing away from you. :)
