+1: my game is affected too:

Hi.

Unfortunetly DCS crashes every time i am using a GBU (12).

This happened never before last update.

There seems to be no obvious pattern but what i can say is that it happens only when having GBU selected and active - then it crashes when activating LTD/R, or Bomb-Impact or even when watching the FLIR-Side of DDI.

There seems to be some issues with "FA18C.dll":

Just crashed after try to drop 4 GBU-38 in TOO designated via ATFLIR when drop the first and switche to T002 .

Never criticized ED before but the last patch, for me, is a mess with the F-18

Hope really for a ED' hotfix and not to wait 'till the next patch! I'm play only the Hornet now

I already posted my crash files, but I didn't mention that this happened to my entire group of 3.  For 2 of them (one who was carrying JDAMs) crashed when arming the laser, I didn't crash when arming the laser but when dropping my GBU12.

I'm getting a crash in SP. I arm & fuse my GBU 12's, TGP the moving target, arm the laser/LTD/R and get a crash. I sent the crash report automatically to ED.

Per Flappie there should be a fix incoming in next patch.

Are they planning a hotfix or we talking about the next full patch in about 5-6 weeks?

This should be fixed in today's patch hopefully, fingers crossed...

I'm still getting crashes, for what it is worth. Flew a mission in the PG map. Fired up the TPOD, selected LMAV, armed the laser, then used WPNDESG on the HSI to slew to the waypoint. As soon as I clicked WPNDESG, I got a crash to desktop. Annoying.

Edit: I was dumb enough to try again. This time I didn't arm the TPOD laser until after I slewed the TPOD to the target using the "WPNDESG" button on the HSI, since that is where it crashed before. The TPOD slewed to the target successfully. I sweetened the TPOD lock with the TDC, redesignated, then clicked the switch to arm the laser... and as soon as I did, it crashed to desktop. Whatever the "fix" was in the hotfix didn't "fix" the problem.

The patch solved the ctd for me..

I tested this in SP after the last patch and is working for me. I tracked a moving target on radar, designated the FLIR, selected the specific vehicle, LTD/R armed & successfully dropped GBU 12.

I will test on a stationary target as I didn't need to select WPNDESG.

I did a quick test today, everything seems fine now. Hot start hornet on the Syria map, no other units. Laser arm didn’t crash the sim and was able to launch two laser mavs and drop four gbu 12’s no dramas 👌

Tried today a training mission with Litening and Lmav; WPNDESG , lock the target with TDC depress LTD/R armed and fired the laser via triggers and launched three Mav successfuly

2nd try in a user campaign and successfully hit two stationary BMPs with GBU-12

At least the Litening look like work again; this night will give a try with the ATFlir

I tried a training mission as well with the ATFLIR and a couple LGBs on a multiplayer server. Everything worked no problem, so it looks as if the issue has been resolved at least for me. Thanks for getting it fixed guys!
