Update today DCS 2.9.7.58923.

Some missions completely busted! No way to open comms menu, no way to end mission or open setting

with "ESC"! See screeshots. Modifying / changing re-saving re-loading mission or DCS is to no avail....

Please advise.

Set your GUI scaling in setting to 1X and you'll get things back to normal.

Well, this works, thanks... But at 4K the fonts / interface are TINY and very difficult to read..

BTW. reverting it back from 1.0 x to 1.5 x starts again the problem... 

That's why I have had it on 1.5 x since AGES.. And now suddenly it won't work any more?

Extremely odd... This happens only with the two attached missions... 

Other PG missions F-18, F-16 etc starting from air or not, and also other maps

with interface 1.5x or 1.75x present no issues... Go figure ......

Change the font size setting above the GUI setting. Should increase your text size.

Haven't had a chance to check your .miz files (thanks for posting them, makes checking things easier), but I'll bet the problem ones have a supercarrier in the mission and the OK ones don't.  That's the reported difference and seems to be the case that I've seen so far.

Remove the Carrier, and it works again.

Well, thank you very much, indeed the problem is the carrier... ANY supercarrier... (CVN-71 -75).

But one must admit, my training mission makes no sense without it... 

Moreover, I have made a new mission from scratch, with a carrier, and indeed.. Crash! as described on the first post of

this thread. (Included).

Though.... I have been playing this missions over and over again for at least a year now, with no issues whatsoever... and

trough several updates of DCS....

And now, just after updating to the last DCS 2.9.7.58923. suddenly this issue appears.

So it is only logical to think that there is an issue with this last update / Supercarrier...

Yes, like I wrote above, I was mistaken. I use VAICOM, and don't really use the radio menu. So I remembered incorrectly.

Updated today to DCS 2.9.7.59074... Issue remains...

Dear ED, it is not just that... and not just 1.25, but 1.5, 1.75, 2.0 x....

Sometimes is IMPOSSIBLE to end a mission hitting esc, (ctrl-alt-del only option)

and even worse, the communication / ATC list (F1,F2,ETC) does not appear.....

Hi, we know and are working on a fix. For now use the default GUI scale as a work around.
