NightHawk1867 Posted August 14, 2024 Posted August 14, 2024 (edited) Instant Action with F5E Tiger II on Caucasus map menu crashes and DCS freezing. Hi, I have the standalone F5E Tiger II aircraft mod and was trying to use the Instant Action in Caucasus map and after clicking on the mission a series of screen flashes and blank menu would appear and DCS would freeze. I had to use the task manager to end the program. At some points the screen flashing which occurred with any key press was a little nauseating. Occurred with the first 2 from top on the menu for instant action on Caucasus map with F5E Tiger II. Think they were called 'Cold Start' and 'Cold Start 2' This occurred at the mission menu, mission brief and once at the mission debrief. Other instant action mission on the Caucasus map worked fine as did some instant action missions for the F5E Tiger II on other maps (I have all the maps). I have the latest DCS version and did a clean install when the major update with new menu was released. Plus Flaming Cliffs 3 and Flaming Cliffs 2024 with the F5 and a lot of other aircraft. I have also started using aitrack with opentrack which has been replaced with beam eye tracker and open track. If someone could check out their DCS so see if its a DCS or me issue I would appreciate it. If anybody has possible cause or solutions please let me know, thanks. Ok just loaded into DCS Wed Aug 14 after latest update DCS 2.9.7.59074 which also included a Flaming Cliffs 3 update and everything seems fine with this. I don't think I've seen it before.
