I still have about 10 motors to use What are the performance figures of these motors? Roughly? ...and please, don't store the batteries of those things indoors. They are a bad fire hazard..... 1 "Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"
Dogmanbird Posted April 14 Posted April 14 (edited) fire hazard - yeah i know. you should see the difference between the old ones from 2016 -2018 era v late ones. There were no warning stickers on the early ones, by 2019 the bottom of the board was completely covered in various warning stickers @propeler i'm fairly sure would be able to give you figures on motor specific performance I'd say there's a whole bunch of us hoping Propeler can get an H shifter mode working successfully. The direct drive one would be a great simple/budget option for that Edited April 14 by Dogmanbird 1

Dogmanbird Posted July 3 Posted July 3 I haven't tried it yet but i see there is a new ffbeast firmware for flight controllers. 1
Winger Posted September 2 Posted September 2 (edited) only saw this thread now:) In case it hasnt been mentioned... There is also my VPForce MONSTER Rhino DIY Kitbase wich utilizes the biggest available VPForce 86BLF04 motors. In the end youll have basically a Rhino with 100% compatibiility to the Rhino ecosystem, just with more power and less overheat likeliness. In fact in tests after 10 Minutes constant turning in a F14 there was no power loss to be felt. Certainly not as powerful as the FFBeast but i would say its somewhere inbetween the original Rhino and the Beast. Currently 2 Kitbases are on stock and on sale. Edited September 2 by Winger 1

The latter. It has the advantage of working consistently the same over all helicopter modules. (Including Mods). I haven't noticed any downsides yet. 1 "Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"
erniedaoage Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago I have a ffbeast but also use the beast hardware trim, since i can change how it feels when i push the trim button. In DCS i loose too much force and it's harder for me to control the stick and the trim. 1 Specs:WIN10, I7-4790K, ASUS RANGER VII, 16GB G.Skill DDR3, GEFORCE 1080, NVME SSD, SSD, VIRPIL T-50 THROTTLE, K-51 COLLECTIVE, FFBBeast Virpil Alpha+VFX Grip, MFG CROSSWINDS, JETPAD, RIFT S Modules:A10C, AH-64D, AJS-37, AV8B, BF109K4, CA, F/A18C, F14, F5EII, F86F, FC3, FW190A8, FW190D9, KA50, L39, M2000C, MI8TV2, MI24P, MIG15BIS, MIG19P, MIG21BIS, MIRAGE F1, P51D, SA342, SPITFIRE, UH1H, NORMANDY, PERSIAN GULF, CHANNEL, SYRIA Thrustmaster TWCS Afterburner Detent https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=223776 My Frankenwinder ffb2 stick https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/254426-finally-my-frankenwinder-comes-alive/
