KilRoY66 Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 You make a great work and I think that for the full series in DVD boxed version €50 is an honest price. I suggest you also to consider, if your business start to become interesting, to find translators for German,French ,Spanish and Italian. On the net many of us are able to read and write in english, but for something "serious" like our hobby is, the translations in user native language could make the difference. ;-)
miguez Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Great idea guys, sounds like something I should investigate!

Tbag Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Hey miguez, how are things progressing? Any news? [/url]"Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so." - Douglas Adams
miguez Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Hi guys, Just came back from a work trip. LET is progressing very well. I am about complete with the first video, and have started the shooting for it. Potential beta testers were contacted today (check your Private Messages inbox!). The aim is for the first video to be out by the end of the year, but it's a little too soon to be sure. So, progress is good, material is coming out, all is well! As usual, stay tuned :) 1
miguez Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Hello everyone, just stopping by for a quick update. Beta testing team is in full swing, and its a really talented one at that! They are currently reviewing the script for the first video, as I shoot parts that will be final. The website is almost to the point of showing. I have some more visual things to get done, but the eCommerce section is done, as well as a major part of the Support area. Still too soon to know if the video will make it out by the end of the year. See you in the next update.
Krippz Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Thanks for the update miguez. Best of luck too you; looking forward to the series. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 64th "Scorpions" Aggressor Squadron Discord: 64th Aggressor Squadron TS: 195.201.110.22
miguez Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Hi guys, Just to let everyone know, we are now working on the sequence of the lessons. In that study, it looks like we will have a Flight School and a Combat School, each of those divided into Basic and Advanced series. I'll keep everyone updated.
miguez Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 Hi Divinuz, Slower than I'd like, but it is coming along. One of the delays was that after much discussions with the beta testers, which by the way include a real-world military helo pilot from Eastern Europe, it was decided that flight school needed to be the first series released. We are now in the script development stage. After that is validated we go to production, testing, then release. I'm sorry it is taking a long time, but I rather release a great set of videos rather than a rushed one. 1
GuntiNDDS Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 very excited about the comming videos :D please make sure to implement a paypal payment option into the ecommerce system, for people without credit cards :D
miguez Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 please make sure to implement a paypal payment option into the ecommerce system, for people without credit cards :D That's already done and ready to go :).
ArtMan_NL Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 I´m very interested in those video´s too. It should be nice to make a start sequence simulator. I mean your video at the right side of the monitor and on the left side the simulator. (A simulator for a simulator :megalol:) Maybe you should contact Ironhand too. He made nice high quality video´s for lockon on his site: http://flankertraining.com/ironhand/news.html Good luck with your business. Hope you make it less then 50 $
miguez Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Hey ArtMan, Thanks for the interest! Have you tried the start sequence video I put together as a sample about a year ago? It's the first one in thislist, named Leading Edge Training. You will be able to buy only the videos that interest you, so what you pay will agree with your budget.
ArtMan_NL Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Yes, I did. I signed up at your forum as well :) At this moment I have your video running on one screen and at the other one the simulator it self. You have a nice voice for doing such thing. When can we expect the next video? I'll wait for what is coming next, keep up the good work
norm Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 but will i have to spend another fifty dolors with every new module?
miguez Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 but will i have to spend another fifty dolors with every new module? Hi norm, The pricing structure is still being designed. Rest assured you will get loads of bang for your buck. And the structure of purchasing only what you need will still exist, so you chose how much you want to spend.
Mr Pink Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 hi miguez, great video, laid out excellently, good flow and keeps you very interested going through it and watching/understanding it. been helping me a lot. looking forward to any new videos coming up, any update on any other releases or anything? any other reading material that you could recommend or anything else to get one up to speed of operating the ka 50, flight/weapons and tactics/ systems/ procedures? again excellent work
Intrepid Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Greetings Miguez. Just wanted to let you know I watched the Leading Edge Training sample and it's by far the most informative and enjoyable video I've witnessed so far on the Ka-50. I think you are really on the right track. Seconded only by the producer's notes videos, I feel that tools such as these help accelerate the learning curve greatly and should surely be sought after. If I had to criticize anything not already spotted, it'd be that the volume levels seemed to fluctuate a bit and sometimes required adjustment. Considering the pile of equipment you ordered, I'm sure even that will smooth out. Although I cannot as of yet "think in Russian...", hopefully with the additional tutorials to come, I won't need to :). Thank you for your contributions so far and in advance for the future series. Bravo!
