Dear friends,

We badly need good quality drawings and photos for cruiser type Tyconderoga and fregate type Oliver Perry, and their weapons. We shall make 3D models for these ships.

Я принимаю модели, а вы мучаетесь, но у вас растет мастерство!!!:book:

Wildcat

The third ship in the 4th picture (182) looks like The Pakistan Navy PNS Babur - ex HMS Amazon Type 21 Frigate.

Well liked by their crews but they took a hammering in the Falklands war.

Amazon was not to be involved in that war.

Probably the prettiest ships ever to sail under Royal Navy colours. They were based here in Plymouth and they just looked right, as some ships do.

Make me one of those please ... ?

Wildcat, sorry, did not mean for you to make me a model of the Babur, just a throw away comment from me - what I meant was I wish somebody would make some new ship models, the game ships are quite poor really. It would be nice to have an Arleigh Burks class and we could really use a decent sized Fleet Oiler or a Fast Combat Support Ship to go with the CVN.

Nice pictures mate.

Some pics of the RAN Adelaide class, which is essensially the Oliver hazard Perry Class. There are only a few minor differences between the Australian ones and the US model. HMAS Adelaide - 01 is an original US model, The remaining 5 in the fleet were made in Australia. The only difference is a minor modification to the stern. you might be able to see from the photos, Adelaide - 01 vs Newcastle - 06.

Precise 3D Modelling is Working on it too.

ED, there had been a new update on Precise 3D Modelling, and It has been brought to my attention that they are also working on the Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigates. The process is already excellent. It is already posted on the front page. You can view it here:

With all due respect,

Heres a decent reference to get started on certain aspects when modeling .

its a decent blueprint reference image. I get all my blueprints here for modeling purposes

and reference photos for detail.
