How do I know if i have remastered version?

I updated DCS but never explicitly updated the F-5. How can I tell in the sim if the remastered version is installed or not?

If the model has good quality, the additional VHF antenna is present, or if you have a limited selection of skins, then you have the remastered version.

so there's not a way to see in the main menu or module options if it's installed? or a version number? i can't really tell if the model's quality is better since i haven't flown her in a while.

There are new cockpit reflections too. Also, module manager will tell you if it is installed.
More shimmering in the cockpit, even on 4x MSAA, is another clue.
And on my system it halved my frames down low. (Hopefully easily solved with the reduced texture script).

Module Manager or even in the launcher will obviously also tell you if you have the remastered installed and enabled...

thanks, this is what I was looking for. I checked and I indeed don't have the remastered version. How do you get it? I don't see a way to download it on the module pop-up?

You did purchase it in the store with the discount, right?
In the main screen, do you have three F-5 icons? If the new one is grey, the purchase might not have been registrated.

yeah that's it, I didn't realize you had to purchase it, I thought it was a free update. whoops.
