HI. Could use some tips or example profiles for the Mosquito, and could not find any 3rd party ones so far.

I have a TM warthog and Crosswinds setup.

Especially a decent weapon setup fails me to get right. Bomb doors, where are they BTW.

if you mean bomb bay door  ( bindings ) ?   they are under controls tab  ( Hydraulic systems )

( bomb doors lever - down ) and ( bomb doors lever up )

the doors themselves are on the belly just behind the 20 mm cannon bay .

I only mentioned the latter as you just asked ( bomb doors , where are they BTW )

Meanwhile back at the station i got a lot further with my Mosquito controls.

Generally i find the gaming interface far too complicated like in overdone (the same with most helicopters i got licensed).

Some essentials for sheer gameplay i miss, there's no autopilot function, maybe historically correct, but it forces one to manually keep control, boring with long channel crossings.

IMO the Mosquito in IL2 is far better as for gaming: got quite used to that one.

If you have a problem, then search the forums and you will generally find that you are not alone ...   🙂

Got them working, but how do you drop bombs, when the doors are open?

Have you tried looking at the manual? It's actually really simple...

You just flip the safety, the cover for the bomb switches, select the station and fuzes, open the bay and drop them...

^ There is. Or there was, I haven’t tried it for a long while either.

It worked really well but it was a good few updates ago so I don’t know if it still works.

The Mossie’s a good one once you get used to it. I have loads bound with the same WH set up. Getting things on target without blowing ya tail off takes some practice but it’s a blast, pardon the pun.

yep, seems a good one why i was interested in getting to grips with it (again). Chuck's manual seems a help, but i could not find bombing, will look again.

As for all the bomb handling .. how can in places one get that done with a boogieman at your six while dive bombing. f.i which fuse to select?

Got interested again because of the Operation Jericho v25 dynamic mission recently re-posted by Terry.

Latter has some prison placed far away from Amiens, while the real prison is placed on the Channel map OK.

You should check out the official manual too, not just chucks guide.

As for the fuze, it literally depends on what you want to do. Shorter fuzes for dive bombing, longer ones for low level bombing or extremely long fuzes for area denial.

And the secret ingredient to success is not having someone on your six in the first place.

Thanks, finally found time to look at it again ... I now wonder if there's a way to combine 3 functions to one button on my warthog stick, doors, safety, and fuse?

Voice attack ...

Press a button, or verbally pretend you are asking your navigator. 🙂

With TM target software you can configure a sequence of commands with one button.

Add the commands one by one and do not forget to setup if they are hold, release or pulse. In case of hold, configure the timeout in miliseconds.

there seems to be a new version, and also firmware for the warthog throttle ..

PS i use IL2 Great Battles too, if i install TARGET for DCS, would that interfere with my non Target IL2 control pages setups?
No. Nothing is loaded in the HOTAS, (contrary to the first programmable TM sticks from the 90s). You need to load the script in T.A.R.G.E.T to enable the virtual stick. When the script is not run, it's just the vanilla stick.
Cheers!

Just been trying setting Target up again. So a stupid Q: is it possible at all to incorporate my Crosswinds pedal in the setup?

As far as I know, only TM products can be configured in Target

Has anyone experience with RS mapper?

Seems to work for all your control hardware, so permanently and not practical with more than one flightsim on your PC..

Must load with each individual plane plane one uses?

Why on earth would you that?
The pedals are axis. You're not going to press any buttons with those, are you?

nope maybe, but some individual plane setting might need L/R braking set, and even adjusted curves ..
Yeah, but that is better to do directly in DCS IMHO. Because even with a virtual setup through T.A.R.G.E.T, you still need to map the axis in DCS.

No need for TARGET. Keep it simple. Set from within DCS, curves and all.  Imho, more fun using the mouse to flip switches in ww2 birds... HOTAS for triggers, trims, flaps, boost only
