On mission three I do my cold and dark, then when I am rdy to taxi biggi is far from rdy besides stating that on radio. Seems that he is starting his procedure just when I start to taxi having me to wair for him additional several minutes..

Anybody else?

Other missions have this situation as well, also M09 for example. Seems to be always if you're the flight lead. I sometimes just take off without them and they will then catch up.

Or just taxi slower, I can only tell them to turn on their engines when you as a player are ready to taxi. It then takes around 90 seconds for them to start taxiing (but if you don't move, they will taxi ahead of you). Not much I can do about it, so you have to be flexible!

I think the issue is the 'ready to taxi' command comes a long time after you have started up and are ready to go.  You then have to wait even longer for your wingman to start.

Can the command be moved forward?

Not really, as some people still play around with things even after reporting they are ready and then wingman can takeoff before. To be sure I need to know that player starts moving. Just don't taxi too fast (hey, it is icy and cold anyway). One of DCS limitations unfortunately, if I had an option to keep a ready AI jet on the tarmac for as long as I like it would've been great.

At first I thought this was a bug too. Don’t tell me you’re ready to taxi when you’re not. Lol as I started to move I noticed that the wings were still folded. So I waited and ctl +z (hey your time is precious so use it) until it actually started move.

Have to clarify that you must taxi just past its entrance to the road before it moves.

I was also curious. Seems that Bigi has a remote starter for his aircraft as the pilot model is not in it until it actually taxis. I’m jealous 😂

Juts tried this mission this morning. For me BIGI never start up. never taxi, never take off, never flies. never kills its first target and this is pretty much where the campaign stops for now.

Would it possible to add comments in the motherhood section for each important triggers ? Like C/S FUCKO needs to taxi for the next mission to carry-on, then target X needs to be destroyed to continue... Also, if DCS doesn't detect you have switched to channel/freq, prompt for a retry. For all these, add F10 menu options to unf**** the triggers or something. In other words, I think this systems requires trigger backups for each triggers with trigger backups for the backups in case the back ups do not work...

Yeah, I can add a note about that in the briefing, no problem. As for safeguards for triggers, you can't imagine how many there are in this (and all other campaigns), and how much time It takes to add those.. and still quite often things won't work due to DCS bugs, user errors and of course my mistakes 🙂

Just retried this mission ! Same thing ! Dash 2 doesn't spool up. All triggers are broken... And by the way, there are two tankers "ARCO" one behind each other by a few miles and none would give fuel. The only one that would trail the hoses is the 2nd one in trail and is stuck in the lead tanker's vortices. This is awesome !

As we cannot reproduce the issue and for other people the wingman starts up normally, I have to ask did you check Blackhawks advice above? Also, do you have any unofficial 3rd party mods installed (aircraft,  VAICOM etc)? We did some tests with beta testers and the mission worked as intended so it is difficult to troubleshoot, and 3rd party mods are known to completely break AI behavior in DCS.

Yeah ! I think I know what happened... I was not listening to ATIS... Apparently without that, you can't continue a mission. Could not continue the mission though as dash-2 collide with my jet during the take off roll.

DCS is like a real jet... for each hour of "play", 20 hours of unfuckulation... Maybe we are the one should should get paid.

I hear you... as for the stupidity of the AI wingman, try to run a repair and make sure to disable all the unofficial 3rd party mods. They make things much, much worse...
