Are you eventually going to work to up this mod to official full fidelity status??

Let’s get it into a usable place first before we look at other options.

Remember none of these things fly any more, so I'll be happy with an aircraft, "That looks right, flies well." Anything after that is a bonus (IMHO). Hat's off for even trying.

When it's ready, it's ready and don't frazzle yourself getting there.

Gorgeous! Well done on all the effort so far - she's looking gooood! - and all the best with the road ahead. We'll be here all the way 🙂

Bignewy from Eagle Dynamic stated, "If they wanted to go official they would need to reach out to us.", when I asked about any potential mod to official full fidelity module works in conjuction with ED.  I PRAY for a full Fidilty Jaguar module - $79.99 each - day one purchase for me if you do this, SkyForge Studios.

From i understand listening to different current vendors' conversations on YouTube that touch on working with ED, they have high expectations. If you can prove a working full-fidelty module with reliable non-classifed and publicly available information, then they might be interested.

What is know is developing full-fidelty modules can take years.

I encourage to keep working towards your goal. If your fixed wing was available, I would buy it.

I have always wondered, quietly to myself, how ED knows if the model is high fidelity or not?

If ED already has all the information to benchmark a potential model by, why doesn't ED itself hire a shedload of creators and release every aircraft known to man?

Unless I am acting extremely naive, which I do admit to being from time to time... I sit and await an education. 😉

Because that part costs them money, that they may not make back in sales.  Letting the dev studios eat the development costs, and then taking a percentage of sales is much better business.

As is fairly well attested now, ED has no plan when it comes to DCS module - they just need to flog EA stuff they think will sell (hence the modern aircraft in a decidedly Cold War sim). The further an aircraft one cares about stays away from this business model the better IMO.

Never sure why people always clamour for "full fidelity" stuff, when really they should be clamouring for ED to release a SDK to the community...

Roll on labours of love, and the Jag in particular! Looking forward to her as and when she's ready 🙂
