Tom P Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Can we get a iPad/tablet kneeboard template? We have "modern" timelines which have incorporated iPads for awhile. I tried doing one myself but it's not perfect. I masked it in photoshop so only the iPad was there but the game added the dark background and the pilot body made it wavey with the way it's secured to the pilot body. And this is a big ask but this is a wish list after all.... 1) if we can get a iPad can it possibly be interactive. For example a moving F10 map export/import displayed based on your location. Or the mission makers F10 map drawings like tanker racetrack areas. 2) Would obviously need a brightness setting for different world lighting conditions I.e night time.
Minsky Posted March 9 Posted March 9 We previously had an iPad-like frame, but thankfully they got rid of it several years ago. I belive that the actual content should occupy as much of the kneeboard's real estate as possible. This allows for better readability and higher information density, thereby improving kneeboard's usefulness. Wasting this precious space on meaningless decorations for the sake of immersion? That's a definite no from me. (Having this frame as an option is also not an option, as the creators will be forced to cater for it anyway.) Dima | My DCS uploads
Rudel_chw Posted March 9 Posted March 9 The iPad 1 came to market on 2010, so it would be realistic only on some DCS aircraft. To me it would be much more useful to have DCS "remember" the tabs I have placed on the KB of each aircraft.
