Aapje Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Magnetic detents too. And the metal throttle body will probably appeal to many.
SharpeXB Posted March 18 Posted March 18 (edited) What’s always disappointing to me with these high-end throttles is they try to emulate the actual ones and the result is they don’t have enough buttons on them. And if anyone flies different aircraft why would you want a Hornet specific device? Real aircraft don’t need a zoom view axis and such. Like I don’t have a use for all the switches and knobs for the side panel. And no use for dual throttles. I just want more buttons on the handle itself where they’re more useful. I’ll just keep the CH forever Edited March 18 by SharpeXB 2 i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5

Too bad the detents are not physically adjustable. I am happy with what I am having so, I would give it a pass. Well it is for all other FFB products anyway. We definitely need a Moza sub-forum. 1 I Fly, Therefore I Am. One cannot go around not saying "Thank you" every time these days, can't you? Aapje Posted March 18 Posted March 18 (edited) Yeah, the review I saw didn't make me regret getting a STECS. @SharpeXB I also prefer 'fantasy' controllers that are made to be jacks of all trade, masters of none, so it works well for many games and types of airplanes. Edited March 19 by Aapje 2

AR_Parker Posted March 19 Posted March 19 It's nice to have options. Personally I would probably go for a stecs to the small virpil. It's awesome that more companies are starting to jump on the flight sim train.

Nice piece the STECS, I still think the T.M Warthog Throttle can be easily utilised for other Air Frames. I love it after all these years I also use a Virpil Button Box#2. Which is my "Fantasy controller" Still a decent try by Moza, think they may be the first to give a player a "Throbbing" Thruster in their hands. 1 Asus ROG Crosshair Hero VIII , Ryzen 3900X, Nzxt Kraken Z73, Vengence RBG Pro DDR4 3600mhz 32 GB, 2x Corsair MP 600 pcie4 M.2 2 TB , 2x Samsung Qvo SSD 2x TB, RTX 3090 FE, EVGA PSU 800watt, Steelseries Apex Pro. I do see why people would like a more "modern" throttle though. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk 1
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants Posted March 19 Posted March 19 I tried the newer TM Viper throttle but it broke in a very specular fashion, featuring FedEx. So I settle for a WinWing. I would say STECS works with any jet with two engines, some time with chopter too. Sorry very OT. 1 I Fly, Therefore I Am.
