Delta134 Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Page 506 of the DCS F-16C Early Access manual mentions the following: Limitations Standby time: 1 hour Video time: 30 minutes Page 510 on the manual suggests the missile will enter standby mode after the 3-minute warm-up period and as such has one hour of available duty time. Once a missile's video is activated, it has 30 minutes of available duty time. How do I select standby mode? Pressing OSB1 on the WPN page as the manual suggests on page 508 does not work. As soon as the warm-up period has passed the missile's video is automatically activated and OPER mode is selected, contrary to the manual. Power cycling puts the missile in standby mode for a short period of time; after three minutes, video is automatically activated again. I want to select standby mode to make use of the one hour duty cycle. Any suggestions? 1

To my knowledge, entering STBY mode when in OPER has not been implemented yet in DCS. Edited March 21 by NytHawk

Delta134 Posted March 21 Author Posted March 21 Thanks for the answers. @BIGNEWY could you perhaps check with the dev team if this is working as intended? Or if there is an update planned?
Furiz Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Obviously not working as intended since we are trying to simulate real world
Tenkom Posted March 24 Posted March 24 Mavericks have been in the game for over 15 years and ED has never bothered to implement this. I wouldn't hold my breath. 1
