Have any of you manually edited hosts in your  C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts  ?

It seems some people have edited this in the past and it is creating problems for some

Open C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts in notepad,

check for api.digitalcombatsimulator.com line and delete, then save. ( if it is not there dont worry )

Then retry the update.

bravo BN. although it likely helped users get to resources, i knew editing HOST was going to sting later. i wished i had a dollar for every client i had to troubleshoot because of HOST. sometimes bad engineers like to make something work and then walk away. then no change logs. SMH.

I anticipated exactly this a while back.
