So much cool stuff is unmarked. I'm particularly interested in the SAM sites. I found one 5km north of Allstedt airbase (SA-5?)

Anyone found some others?

There should be an SA-3 site to the north-west of Allstedt (about 1 km to the north of Allstedt itself), but the nearest SA-5 site IRL is ~40 km to the south (adjacent to Eckolstädt).

hey guys, does anyone managed to find the SAM sites?

This is an EARLY map. I haven't found all the SAM sites yet. I've also marked some that were there historically but aren't in the game. The screenshot is illustrative - you need the MIZ file to see it properly. In the MIZ file the labels are only visible in the Mission Editor, not the in game F10 map.

Includes US, RAF, LW, DDR and Soviet bases etc.

It could be nice to se these names when zooming on the map.

Very nice, we should crowdsource this, if anybody finds some sites, please keep adding to it.

Also I believe there is a way to find map objects by id but I'm not sure how. It would be much easier to find the sites that way.

That has nothing to do with this file?

No, the file is fine, he's talking about the names of the towns and such that usually appear when you zoom in or out of locations on other maps.

the "ammo dump" at Finow airbase is not an ammo dump but a Collectivized farm, as indicated by the tractor parked in the middle.

I've compiled a list of all the SAM sites I've found or other people have found and shared. Ugra have mentioned that there are 40 sites included with phase 1

This list is only for sites that have infrastructure in the Germany map. historical sites that are not present in game are not relevant here. Otherwise please contribute, I'll update the OP with your contributions.
Be careful not to mistake tank ranges or collective farms for SAM sites.

How do I tell what type of SAM sites they are?
from these 2 resources which show the configuration matches the layout of the sites, however i gather that some of the sites that have SA-3 and Hawk layout were historically SA-2 or Patriot sites. I have corrected that *
