I’m using a Pimax Crystal with an RTX 4080 and the old Quad Views mod with a wider FOV.
I’m getting an average of 35–45 FPS below 1,000 feet and 45–70 FPS at altitudes above 5,000 feet, all on maximum settings.

The performance of this Map is absolutely incredible , especially considering the level of detail. It’s an pure experience in VR.

I just ran it with a 3090 and a G2.
For me, the performance was similar to Syria, but not quite as good, got some stutters over larger cities. But overall, it´s playable.
I´m really impressed with how it handles that amount of trees, which don´t seem to affect performance at all.

Much better than Marianas map for me.

Plain vanilla 3090, Ryzen 7, Pimax Crystal, 64 GB RAM, nearly all settings maxed - smooth performance, 45 FPS standard, over population areas like Hamburg and Berlin minimum 36 FPS. Can't complain.

RAM does the magic, a friend of mine with a Pimax and a 4090 but only 32 GB RAM has more problems.

Flying low in rotaries (Apache and Kiowa particularly awful) on one of the instant access missions (free fly) had such bad FPS when approaching towns its unplayable. I have a 3090, 64 gig RAM and a i9 10900 CPU. Flying in VR with a Quest Pro (Rendering Res 4864x2464 @72Hz).

No issues on any other maps I have. (Don't have Kola and haven't tried S Atlantic in a while)

I thought that all 3080s had 10GB of VRAM?

7800x3d, 5080, 64GB, PCIE5 SSD - Oculus Pro - Moza (AB9), Virpil (Alpha, CM3, CM1 and CM2), WW (TOP and CP), TM (MFDs, Pendular Rudder), Tek Creations (F18 panel), Total Controls (Apache MFD), Jetseat

The RTX 3080 Mobile came with either 8 or 16GB IIRC.  My Alienware x17 has the 16GB version.

I might surprise you, but personally, I have a 2080 8GB and it's smooth in VR (35 fps in large cities and 45/50 fps in the countryside) without stuttering, thinking that it will improve with updates.
So, nothing to say from my side.👍

Using a 4070ti and 64Ram on a HP G2 VR
Test same settings on Syria and Germany, on the AH-64D drops from 60's to 40's fps, with a few small adjustments in the settings you can go up to 50's fps, or more, and have a good experience.
With other modules the drop is not as great.

With some tests you can make a costum profile for this Map if you think in flying low

One thing is for sure, it performs better than on the Marianas map 🙂

With 2 x F-4E on an attack mission against 2x6 enemy vehicles on the Germany CW Map during daylight, flying over Frankfurt and near Fulda, I get 65-80 FPS.

I also have a profile for using DLSS Quality, but with the same settings as below, which further increases FPS at the cost of sharpness.

For more consistent FPS I select "Force 45FPS ASW:Off" by pressing Crtl+NumPad 2

For even smoother FPS I select "Force 45FPS ASW:On" by pressing Crtl+NumPad 3, though I sometimes get some artifacts, but ghosting is almost 100% gone looking to the sides.

Maybe my settings for the Quest 3 will help (Only those I have changed, or those that have an impact are mentioned):

Played the map with an RTX 4090 and a Pimax Crystal Light (High Render Quality) - Highest DCS Settings.

The performance on several multiplayer server was very good.

It would say there, is a enough of space - but we need this, for the next updates and (detail) improvements.
