German Autobahn too small

Please enlarge german autobahn in size, to be better recognised for visual navigation. 

Little research results:

Pre 1990 german motorways usual dimensions were between 3,5m-3,75m per lane plus aditional 0,5 meters either side next to it. The Space in between opposing direction lanes was three to four meters in width. Motorways pre 1990 usually had an extra stop lane for broken down vehicles which added another 2meters minimum each side in width.

I agree, I thought I could use the Autobahn for navigational reference, but they are hardly distinguishable from other roads as it is.

The width of the Authobahn is not the same as today. Especially in DDR, where for long the width was same as before WW2

Not sure, but by the 2025 and beyond and the Germany Cold War videos, that can be a problem on the TDK editor, or no implemented.

For VFR navigation, the Autobahn is not prominent enough.

IRL, it's very easy to spot and navigate by. In game, it's almost invisible if not recognizable at intersections.

It still should be looking much more like in the picture on top right of H4XAPU's post - with a "Grünstreifen" separating the opposing directions.

Correct, but more importantly: not all countries have the safety lane. Especially older "highways" did not have it.

I'm talking about the Autobahn, which predates the DDR.

While there may be sections that are looking different, this is the original and default look.

Yes, the Autobahn should be clearly recognizable.. Bremspropeller was faster than me posting an old picture.

This is 1988

1970. So it depends. Some 80s Autobahns had the emergency lane, while others may not.
The east german ones were surely smaller.
