I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask about this but I haven't had it happen outside the campaign. Sorry for the lack of screen shot but they didn't save correctly for some reason.

On Mission 1, which I completed last night but am replaying for a better score, we arrive at New York to marshal and as we are circling, I encounter a drop in the Utility hydraulic pressure to ~800 psi. This is accompanied by a blinking WHEELS indicator and a CHECK HYD GUAGE warning light. I also noticed that the flaps and slats indicators were switching back and forth constantly. External view shows landing gear doors fully closed, slats out, and flaps up. Moving the flap switch has no effect. The manual tells me what everything means but not if it can be remedied. There don't seem to be any binds that I could have hit accidentally.

I reloaded the mission and ran into the same problem, this time, the pressure dropped and returned twice before dropping out again. Again, my apologies if this is something that is obviously fixed, but I've had the Phantom since launch and this is a totally new issue for me.

Incredible campaign otherwise though! 🙂

I had the same in one of two cases. Saw the flashing wheels light after takeoff and watched it thrue the mission. Everything worked OK but there is a problem. Utility pressure was dropping and I believe I lost most of the (wheel) breaking power. Flaps and slats could not be raised after landing.

I just think there is a bug in the reworked Heatblur Hyd system.

Not only this problem is new, but I had it on two occasions that the front gear would not raise fully. No matter what, it could not be retracted.

Also they mentioned in their discord they take a look at the fluctuating pressure gauges and what's causing it.

It's all new after the last update.

For the time being I deceide to ignore it, on the other hand it would be cool to really use the emergency drop areas mentioned in the inflight guide, and just declare an emergency.

I haven't run into this issue with the campaign, but twice actually in MP. Both times received no damage either. So this is definitely an F4 specific bug with the current version, and not with the campaign.

This is definitely not campaign related:

I also had this problem on a mission one replay, but then had it again when I did an instant action mission with an airstart to practice bombing.

On mission one I noticed the aircraft felt like the brakes were dragging on the ground.  It took almost the whole runway to get airborne and the Wheels light came on with a low Utility Hyd pressure.  I also ran through my fuel exceptionally fast even while trying to conserve it.

There seems to be a real bug in the F4

So I eventually ran into this issue again in the campaign and completed mission 1 with it. Thankfully didn't need the emergency gear or flap handle, but brakes were really lacking as you'd expect (good job HB!) Thankfully touching down seemed to temporarily restore pressure and I didn't need the hook or emergency brake.
Ended up with 80 percent (landed with just over 1k of fuel). It had no serious impact on the mission. For me, it definitely seemed to be related to holding at the marshal point, probably not campaign related but still never seen it before.

You guys really better take these reports to Heatblur. They're not monitoring this section. It must be a new Phantom bug, I didn't encounter any of these during testing, nor did my testers.

I posted in their forum today. We’ll see.
