Rick Mave Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Hi everyone, since there are no charts maps or diagrams included in the Germany CW map by Ugra Media, I want to open the topic here and share/discuss any possible sources and charts we can use for our awesome missions on this map! If you have any period correct charts and you are willing to share them, please do so here. I am aware of the MilAIS.org page which publicises the CENOR FLIPs and other charts, however these are not particularly usable any more since there are several severe discrepancies between them and the map we have in the game. Thanks in advance and I am looking forward to see what you have to share, Rohrkrepierer o7 2
Bog9y Posted May 4 Posted May 4 This one is good, a bit old but still better than nothing https://www.mil-airfields.de/approach-charts/de-germany/aerodromes.html 1 1

birkenmoped Posted May 5 Posted May 5 (edited) Not as old as desired, but still over 20 years old, freely accessible via WaybackMachine: DoD FLIP (ENROUTE) SUPPLEMENT EUROPE, NORTH AFRICA AND MIDDLE EAST 6 SEP 2001 Oh, I forgot, no maps but information on airbases, such as dimensions and positions of runways and information on navigation hardware, frequencies, identifiers, positions etc. And a WaybackMachine link to parts (as an example here Bittburg/Spangdahlem) of a DoD FLIP (TERMINAL) VFR ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE ROUTES EUROPE 19 JANUARY 1984 The other airfields/maps can be found, for example, by displaying the list of all URLs of the website on WaybackMachine. Holz sh***, that's a real treasure. Great find. (Looks like there are only helicopter approach charts available though, no jet VADs... and funnily enough, no Pferdsfeld EDPF or Jever EDNJ or Wittmund EDNT airbase ) Edited May 5 by Volator 1./JG71 "Richthofen" - Seven Eleven

Looks like you can get the entire thing for around 80 EUR. Do you know if that link is dead or if this still works?
birkenmoped Posted May 5 Posted May 5 I didn't try it because all the airfields I was interested in were accessible via the URL display in the WaybackMachine. 1 1
Volator Posted June 6 Posted June 6 Allow me to bump this. Is there anybody who has access to historical jet charts for the DCS CWG map and would be willing to share it with the community? Especially period-correct (1970s or 1980s) VFR and IFR charts for the jet airbases are of high interest. We have the current MILAIP for German AF and Army airbases that are still active available, and that will do for now, but there is nothing that I'm aware of for Guetersloh Bitburg Spangdahlem Ramstein Sembach Pferdsfeld Fame and glory for those who post those charts here. 1./JG71 "Richthofen" - Seven Eleven
Rick Mave Posted June 9 Author Posted June 9 The HI-TCN Terminals for all US bases in the Europe, North Africa and Middle East from 1987 are here with me. Gonna take a while to get to scanning all of them in decent enough quality without destroying the booklet. @Volator This is already on your Discord, maybe you did not see it before. Rick Mave Posted June 29 Author Posted June 29 Hi guys, an absolute LEGEND from the german Flugzeug Forum recently got back to me and sent me the TCN Approach Plates for Pferdsfeld EDSP from 1982! Here you go: Pfersfeld TACAN APP.pdf https://www.flugzeugforum.de/threads/anflugkarten-fliegerhorst-pferdsfeld-edsp-80er.106548/#post-3183007 I have not forgotten to keep scanning my own booklet, but have been very busy organising the next DCS REFORGER event, so I will resume work on that when the event is done at the end of next week. Cheers, Rohrkrepierer o7 3 2
Rick Mave Posted June 30 Author Posted June 30 And here we have some more, from the same lovely person who scanned the Pferdsfeld Tacan charts for me. Here you go: Bitburg Spangdahlem Hahn Ramstein Sembach Cheers and see you next time, Rohrkrepierer o7 2 4

WinOrLose Posted July 5 Posted July 5 Just downloaded the map and was really surprised that there were no approach plates - is this normal?

Rick Mave Posted July 6 Author Posted July 6 28 minutes ago, WinOrLose said: That's a shame - I'm sure Nevada had them. Sorry, it's normal for Ugra Media maps as far as I know. But I think for all the other maps it was easier to gather the charts cause they are all modern day maps. Like you saw, I had to buy my own booklet off of Ebay, and then also ask for further info elsewhere. I think the devs are probably too busy to work on the chart resources at the moment.
