vampyrgtr Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Was curious if I have the most recent manual from DCS, as it still says, 'Early Access Guide'.
TheBiggerBass Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Next question: when is "V1.0" release? Barring the flight changes, it's got about all its currently listed early-access features. We've yet to receive the RFI (and the cued search function with it), the Terrain Profiling Mode for the FCR, and (initially but no longer indicated), red/orange marking rockets; Multi-Purpose Submunition (MPSM) rockets; and flechette rockets (and hopes of a more granular, thorough implementation of selectable rocket zones for the pods). 2

Apache isn't in a feature complete state. And the actual policy is to add chapters after the related system/feature has been released to the users. AirSenpai Posted July 8 Posted July 8 Well the apache is missing the ky58 and ky100 encryption ( kiowa has the CIPH it makes comms secure in srs). It is not implemented the Freq Hopping/ HAVE QUICK 1 AND 2), can't use the NLOS on the datalink. we are missing the flechette rounds. the N and M variants for the hellfire too. (they were introduced in 00' and 03')

Mapi Posted July 8 Posted July 8 I think FIRST we need a good flight model! Not more models and there bugs 3 2
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted July 8 ED Team Posted July 8 @AirSenpai The radio features you are referencing are not planned nor have they ever been on the roadmap. They are not featured on any other ED modules either so there should not be expectation for such. SRS is an external mod so we have no control over what is implemented within it. As already stated in the corresponding wishlist thread, other missile variants such as the -114M and -114N are not planned either. Further, from a player perspective, they would be indistinguishable from the AGM-114K. The weapon effects would not appear any different and they would indistinguishable from -114K missiles on the WPN page in the cockpit. The only difference that would be seen in DCS by the players is a different letter painted on the nose of the missile, and this is not worthy of a dedicated feature to develop. Finally, there is no "beep" that accompanies the gun. This is a myth refuted by an actual AH-64D pilot here: thank you On 7/8/2025 at 7:17 AM, Mapi said: I think FIRST we need a good flight model! Hi, as mentioned above we have confirmed the sound is not valid for our aircraft, confirmed by real AH-64 pilots. thank you 2 Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
