Jambock Posted May 23 Posted May 23 The attached mission crashes (freezes and then CTD) when played with JF-17C every time at some point, even after a repair. It works perfectly with other modules such as AV-8B, F-14B, F-15C, F-15E, F-16C, and F-18C. There is no track. DCS 2.9.16.10523, no MODs. Tks! dcs.log RISE OF FREEDOM THUNDER 06.miz

There's no such thing as "JF-17C" in real life, so I'm surprised to see it mentioned in DCS 1 Spoiler Ryzen 9 5900X | 64GB G.Skill TridentZ 3600 | Asus ProArt RTX 4080 Super | ASUS ROG Strix X570-E GAMING | Samsung 990Pro 2TB + 960Pro 1TB NMVe | VR: Varjo Aero Pro Flight Trainer Puma | VIRPIL MT-50CM2 grip on VPForce Rhino with Z-curve extension | Virpil CM3 throttle | Virpil CP2 + 3 | FSSB R3L | VPC Rotor TCS Plus base with SharKa-50 grip | Everything mounted on Monstertech MFC-1 | TPR rudder pedals OpenXR | PD 1.0 | 100% render resolution | DCS graphics settings

I tested the original Portuguese .miz and also an edited version with English text - the track file has a lot of wasted time (on the runway) as I refamiliarised myself with the JF-17 / assigned control bindings, however it does CTD on replay in the current version of DCS 2.9.16.10523, so should serve it's purpose. Looks like the CTD may be related to the HQ-7 shooting down an AI AV-8B ? dcs.log-20250524-0248.log dcs.log-20250524-014815.zip Edited May 24 by Ramsay Checked if tacview had recorded the mission (despite the CTD). i9 9900K @4.8GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 11 Pro x64, Odyssey G93SC 5120X1440
Jambock Posted May 27 Author Posted May 27 It's the only log in the DCS folder. The mission freezes, and the message "The program is not responding" appears. So, a track and a dcs.log.zip aren't generated. However, what seems weird is that the same mission only crashes when I fly the JF-17. dcs.log
