I'm having problems with my mouse causing lag in the game. It started today, I've run DCS for years without problems.

Whenever i move the mouse the game freezes momentarily, otherwise it's running smooth, I can't figure out what the issue is, I've made no hardware changes and it's not due the the recent update as I've had a few hours trouble free flying since that update dropped.

Thanks for your help, here's the log,

I have no clue what the polling rate of my mouse is, though it's not a new one, i have been using it for years without problems in DCS.

No problem.

Had a quick look at your log,

Some advice go to DCS controls and disable hot plug at the bottom, it can help in cases like this.

If you are parking CPU cores try unparking them.

let me know if it helps.

I did the old disconnect all peripherals and reboot, it seems to have done the trick this time, i did multiple reboots without disconnecting my peripherals without it working, it might have been a USB conflict.

On the subject of the CPU I have been getting issues with DCS freezing from time to time, sometimes up to 15 - 20 seconds i saw that line in the log too, I'm not manually parking CPU cores, that's windows and my CPU doing it's own thing. I'm going to try using process lasso to assign DCS to use P cores only, see if that resolves it.

That may be turned on by default in Windows 11. You can use the ParkControl software (can also be done via a registry key) to unpark the cores. As you are on Windows 11 then disabling core parking is advised, vs. using Process Lasso (which can cause stutters).

My polling rare is never above 200 Hz, but extremely lagging with 2.9.22.17790 Openbeta.

Sometimes stuck for 5 seconds even. All cores running, i9 14900k. USBdeview shows all USB devices are OK.

You have an FC-Clickable-Cockpit-Continued mod for modding the ability to click stuff in the cockpit of FC planes. This mod at initial review looks to be polling, and doing stuff, 50 times every second. Can you remove that and do further testing (incl. disabling core parking)

You also have core parking enabled. Use either ParkControl or the registry key update and power profiles to disable this as it can be a cause of stutters.

Alas my DCS crashed twice now, complete computer stuck and needed a power button Off. latest log: dcs.log

I think i will install a fresh DCS download.

Hello everyone,
unfortunately, I won't be able to offer a solution to your problem because I have the same issue (sometimes the image freezes for 10 to 20 seconds, and sometimes it freezes so completely that I have to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to unfreeze it).
I've tried many things, but it keeps happening.
