I've tried everything. Reinstalled DCS, installed steam edition (unbounded the modules), updated to windows 11, removed all mods, configured the corrects windows features, like disabling game mode, and so on. And pretty much everything else you can think of.

I think dcs isn't managing the my cpu cores correctly because core 1 is always at 100% e then freezes the entire PC and i need to restart it manually.

A quick question: one core was at 100% when landed on the main dashboard or in the flight?

I am also a steam user, and I am not sure that there is lots of differences between standalone and steam.

I do see one core slightly higher CPU usage than other cores while I am at the main dashboard.  All P-cores are kind almost same loads while I am in the flight.

Spoiler

What version of DCS was fine prior to this occurring? Your log shows a driver 56633.DLSS Enabler for your AMD card. Seems like a mod of some description for DLSS-like support? Have you tried removing that as well? Probably unrelated.

Your log file shows your Preload Radius is at the 150000 max, drop that to 60000.

Run the Windows DxDiag tool, save the report, and drop that here as well.

It starting occuring in the standalone version.

With or whitout dlss enabler it happens.

The preload Radiius is at 15000 because i renamed the dcs folder in savedgames, and then it create a new default settings folder.

Just out of curiosity...

When DCS freezes, and if you have a folder open or any other windows on the desktop while playing, does Alt+Tab to cycle between DCS and other windows, makes the freeze go away?

Quando o DCS congela, e se você tiver uma pasta aberta ou qualquer outra janela na área de trabalho enquanto joga, Alt+Tab para alternar entre o DCS e outras janelas faz o congelamento desaparecer?

Not , the pc freezes completely.

Oh, damn!

I had stutters and freezes after the latest DCS core update, and the game log file started by saying i had parked cpu cores. The only way i got to unpark them, was turning off the E-cores in the BIOS (it's a 12th gen intel i7 processor). Apparently, i have no more problems in DCS, and in another game as well, that i was having problems before

I am wondering if we can disable launcher at startup.

Not sure the following thread can off the load of some mods at startup:

folks Its always best to create new threads if you are seeing issues and attach your dcs logs, from experience I know it wont necessarily be the same issue.

If we have some data we can look for clues.

thanks

It's time for ED to hard lock some options depending on hardware.

This happens regardless of how new the hardware is. There are several reports here on the forum.
