fair enough. according to the last log you posted, neither of these statements are correct. the idea is to post the log, make the suggested changes, then if no change in the crash, post the new log.

Ok, here it is.

did you used to have an nvidia card? because there is an odd line or two in the log.

2025-06-30 23:24:01.400 INFO    DX11BACKEND (13852): NVIDIA Display Driver Version 56633.DLSS Enabler

then later in log.

see if you can do a DDU on your system. then reload the latest driver for the card you have.

No crashes in the logs, which means likely Windows killing it or you. Can you drop another DxDiag report to see if it shows anything more recent. Based on the previous one:

Windows Error Reporting (WER)

Kernel Events

The following kernel-events have been detected:

VIDEO_MINIPORT_BLACK_SCREEN_LIVEDUMP,GPU_TIMEOUT_OR_DRIVER_FAILURE,VIDEO_DXGKRNL_BLACK_SCREEN_LIVEDUMP

  • Remove any overclocking (including XMP).
  • Run SFC and DISM to check your Windows.
  • Check for any updates of your BIOS or chipset drivers.

For the SFC and DISM references open a command prompt as administrator and then run the below two commands separately, and then restart your PC.

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

sfc /scannow

The DxDiag report shows you have 4 drives, two of which are HDD drives. Which one is DCS on? Which one is your page file on? And to confirm, your page file is on your fastest SSD and all others, e.g. system managed ones, have been removed?

I would strongly recommend a mod manager.

Deactiavte all mods before an update and then re-apply them after the successful update one by one.

Way easier to manage and to troubleshoot.

Also, an update may replace/remove modded files selectively (depending on if it were altered or additional files) - which can damage mods in surprising ways.

Correct. In addition to this also delete the shader caches Saved Games\DCS\fxo and metashaders2 folders to ensure that these are recompiled correctly with changes due to mods.
