I think someone, possibly even myself, may have asked this before and if so, I do apologize. I have the Southwest Afghanistan map and the East Afghanistan map. I think I have heard that there will eventually be a North Afghanistan map. Would it do me any good to have the full Afghanistan map at this point? When/if they release a map of the north, if I added that, would it give me any more than the full map?

You purchased the parts separately? Then it doesn't really make sense to purchase the full version, but wait to purchase the Northern part. There have been talks of a discount for people in your situation.
Cheers!

I chose to save money and get the full map. So I have to wait for the North part too, but all I really mostly care about is the East part anyway.

Congrats on taking the opportunity...but generally when people are asking if something is worthy buying, they would usually like non-biased opinions of people not associated with the company selling the product....

Customer: "Hmmm Is it worth buying a Toyota Tundra?"

Toyota Salesman: "Absolutely!"   🤣

I've also been flying DCS for well over a decade and have an opinion like anyone else. Take my advice as you wish to.

But I was pointing out that buying the full package is a better option than the individual regions, not only as you get the full package once completed but the price is cheaper than if you buy separately later.

Haha it's all gd BN - just giving you a hard time. 😉

I also totally agree with you - was interested in the Afghan map as well and considered the full terrain the better deal. Just saw a few issues with slow mesh/texture loading when I trialled it last week so just investigating before purchase. Shame Kola doesn't have a Trial either, as that would go well with the great new Viggen module I just bought - should have got it ages ago, awesome aircraft!

No worries 🙂

Afghan is one of my personal favourites, I do mostly air to ground stuff.

Trials are great, but it is up to the third party if they want to participate or not.
