herobie Posted July 8 Posted July 8 if I want to try to land a plane with a failed navigation system or an engine on fire, what should i do in ME. I remember couple months ago there is still an option to select specific system offline when you create a unit, but it seems disappeared in a update
Vakarian Posted July 8 Posted July 8 (edited) IIRC you can set a static unit instead of a live one, and that one has a checkbox "dead" which should serve the purpose I completely misread the question, Razor below has answered it correctly Edited July 8 by Vakarian 2

I remember couple months ago there is still an option to select specific system offline when you create a unit, but it seems disappeared in a update The plane has to be set to "player" and then you have an additional tab available (next to the weapons tab, frequency tab etc.) that allows you to set specific fails. __________________ As an alternative you can also trigger fails via the trigger list: ________________ Note: Failures don't work in Multiplayer Recommendation: Don't ever enable random failures in the settings. It will give you just so many failures within a short span of time, and quite serious ones. In short, your aircraft won't get random failures, it will just break down, to put it bluntly. Not my experience. I always fly with random failures set to on and failures are very rare. 2 Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria
