So i have this issue where mavericks do not slave to the new targeting pod, i tried to follow the guide on youtube but either i am doing something wrong or i dont know what else, but the mavericks just arent reaacting to the pod in any way shape or form. (i hope this trackfile is the righ one since i dont realy understand this).

If you do a trackfile, try to do a short one with only the issue isolated. Airspawn for example.

Then dont use Mods. There is the eurofighter mod needed to be installed. 

I went through it fast forward and saw in the first engagement the TGP was NOT SOI. That could be the issue.

In the second engagement the Mavericks were set to Boresight aka BORE. They wont slave to the TGP in BORE. Switching to BORE happens when you accidentally press the cursor enable switch on the hotas, or when its bound with some other key you press together with it.

 

Make sure to stay in PRE mode all the time and that the TGP is SOI before you press TMS up on it.

Having a related issue.  Maverick moves to target area, just not on the selected target.  In PRE mode, TGP locks target in Point track.  Hands off target to IR Maverick and switch's SOI to Maverick.  Maverick aims right of target every time by same amount.  HUD shows Mav seeker offset to the right same amount every time.  Using Hot Start on ramp.  Tested alignment of MAV to TGP on ramp with same amount of offset every time.  Two of us duplicated the issue on multiplayer as well as single player.

Hi, 

you seem to be choosing a spot to close, generally you want to be in the air for boresight and use a point around 3nm away.

Thanks for the reply.  We just realized we have a Moose script on this mission, so we think that's a factor.  We've tested on Caucasus map and cannot duplicate the issues.  We created a new clean Nevada mission, and found that the Mav will track properly on the first pass, but after hitting the first target, it seems to fail to accept the hand-off from the TGP.  Says it's doing it, but never locks on.  More common in multi-player, although I had it happen in the last two tries on the same Nevada mission in single player.  Would that track file help trouble shoot (likely user error).

so it seems that either i was doing something wrong or it was the typhoons fault so now at least it locks and handoffs the target properly, now to figure out multitrack :D, thanks for the help 🙂

I have experience that 2xMAV can't align with ATP. When MAV is single on pylon than BSGT can be boxed.
Handoff is ....  off (30m) every time. 😄
