I sure hope that PTO goes well for Eagle Dynamics, that would greatly increase the chance that we might get a map like this one pictured.

Nice to have. I would shift map left 100 miles or so IMO, to get the area around Port Moresby in there.

Indeed, while the Solomons would be awesome. Since ED has gone hard for 1944. The Philippines would be a better match, but also a lot more work. A LOT more land to model.

Wish the WW2 team was larger.
