Is there any campaign inbound?

Hey guys,

 

I am considerung to by the iraq map but don´t know if there is any content available or upcomming? Do you know if anyone is building a campaign like dessert storm or iraqi freedom? For F16, F18 or even the Tomcat? Or maybe for the helos?

Oh yes, maybe one or two of its missions will take place there and that will lead to me buying this map, or any other required but thats not the kind of campaign I thought about. I´m quite confused that there is a new theatre which was one of the most active battlefields for the last 35 years or so and offers a lots of opportunities to let our modern roster shine and nobody cares about it. Iraq must be perfect for the F18, F16, F15, A10, Apache and even other modern modules like the F14, the Harrier, the Mirage all the way back to the F4. Do I just miss it or is the map that awefull that nobody wants to make a campaign for it?

1. Irag is nowhere near fully developed yet, so campaign creators need to wait for a lot of the regions to be more developed. 
Iraq South is not even released yet.
2. Campaigns take time. And they generally try to mimic, or give a sense of, real  missions flown. See point 1.

I’m really looking forward for a Desert Storm or Operation Free Iraq campaign for the F-16C Viper

Not only for the Viper. The Phantom as a weasel, F18 and F14 from the carriers, theoretically the Strike Eagle (damn it!) and of course the Warthogs, Apaches and even some redfor stuff. There is so much potential!

The only thing that would make sense now would be for @Reflected and @baltic_dragon to team up again, and this time invite others like @ChillNG (Ground Pounder), @Sandman Simulations, or @Badger633 to join forces in creating the ultimate Operation Desert Storm. Based on real life missions with shared scenarios and voice actors, each with a different module and their own individual style, yet always building on one another.

Amen to that
