Supercarrier FA-18C is it possible to take off again without needing to go to or be on a parking slot?

After Trap, taxi off the landing strip, Parking Menu won't come up because not on Parking Slot, radioing Ground Crew will alert Catapult Crew but Request TakeOff from Ground Crew does nothing, blast board does not come up, request ReFuel does not help, Parking Brakes does not help etc.

Not a direct answer but you can disable the taxi crew in super carrier options. Or iirc there is a teleport keybind that should put you into the parking spot if stuck/ not working

I've had it work, I've had it not work, but in general it works.  Or at least it did; mostly I do carrier ops in an F-16 lately and the taxi director gets pretty huffy waiting for me to fold my wings so I run over him to park.

I seem to recall finding some magic sauce on requesting takeoff but now I can't remember what that was, and they've changed a few things since then.

Not with taxi directors. Only with no taxi directors on supercarriers or use CVN-74 (no deck crew).
