Derbysieger Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago This shouldn't be marked as correct as is imho. It should be dependant on the special options tab for the module or dependent on setting the avionics language to native, not dependant on whether my units is set to metric or imperial. Switching the setting every time dependant on the module you want to fly is not a good solution 6 CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D | Mobo: ASRock X870E Taichi Lite | RAM: 96GB DDR5-6000 CL30 | GPU: ASUS RTX5090 32GB ROG Astral | SSDs: 3xSamsung 990 Pro 4TB M.2 Peripherals: Warthog HOTAS | Virpil MongoosT-50CM3 Base | TrackIR 5 | MFG Crosswinds | 3xTM Cougar MFDs | HP Reverb G2
Raven (Elysian Angel) Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Indeed. It may be “working as intended”, but it definitely isn’t “correct as is”. 6 Spoiler Ryzen 7 9800X3D | 96GB G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo DDR5-6000 | Asus ProArt RTX 4080 Super | ASUS ROG Strix X870E-E GAMING | Samsung 990Pro 2TB + 990Pro 4TB NMVe | VR: Varjo Aero VPC MT-50CM2 grip on VPForce Rhino with Z-curve extension | VPC CM3 throttle | VPC CP2 + 3 | FSSB R3L | VPC Rotor TCS Plus base with SharKa-50 grip | Everything mounted on Monstertech MFC-1 | VPC R1-Falcon pedals with damper | Pro Flight Trainer Puma OpenXR | PD 1.0 | 100% render resolution | DCS graphics settings Win11 Pro 24H2 - VBS/HAGS/Game Mode ON
Derbysieger Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Yes, change the units in the gameplay settings to metric. Imho this needs to be changed asap. Binding it to the native avionics option or putting it in the special options tab as a separate option are acceptable solutions to me. The units set in general gameplay options shouldn't effect cockpit instruments of individual modules. 3 CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D | Mobo: ASRock X870E Taichi Lite | RAM: 96GB DDR5-6000 CL30 | GPU: ASUS RTX5090 32GB ROG Astral | SSDs: 3xSamsung 990 Pro 4TB M.2 Peripherals: Warthog HOTAS | Virpil MongoosT-50CM3 Base | TrackIR 5 | MFG Crosswinds | 3xTM Cougar MFDs | HP Reverb G2
MickV Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Doesn't work the other way - English cockpit but metric units in gameplay settings leaves the cockpit in Feet/Knots

This used to only affect the mission editor and F10 map. This change is a huge step in the wrong direction, since as MickV said, it doesn’t work the other way around which feels really weird. 2 Spoiler Ryzen 7 9800X3D | 96GB G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo DDR5-6000 | Asus ProArt RTX 4080 Super | ASUS ROG Strix X870E-E GAMING | Samsung 990Pro 2TB + 990Pro 4TB NMVe | VR: Varjo Aero VPC MT-50CM2 grip on VPForce Rhino with Z-curve extension | VPC CM3 throttle | VPC CP2 + 3 | FSSB R3L | VPC Rotor TCS Plus base with SharKa-50 grip | Everything mounted on Monstertech MFC-1 | VPC R1-Falcon pedals with damper | Pro Flight Trainer Puma OpenXR | PD 1.0 | 100% render resolution | DCS graphics settings Win11 Pro 24H2 - VBS/HAGS/Game Mode ON
Badger1-1 Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Yeah I feel the same, I have it now set to metric, the US jets are still in feet as far as I know but not sure about the other FC3s. Should be connected to native settings in the gameplay tab. Also my english Cockpit now shows NM instead of KM but the rest is Meters and KMH....come on ED Edited 3 hours ago by Badger1-1 1

I made a separate thread about the opposite problem to this one here: https://forum.dcs.world/topic/378967-english-cockpit-with-metric-units/ 2 Spoiler Ryzen 7 9800X3D | 96GB G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo DDR5-6000 | Asus ProArt RTX 4080 Super | ASUS ROG Strix X870E-E GAMING | Samsung 990Pro 2TB + 990Pro 4TB NMVe | VR: Varjo Aero VPC MT-50CM2 grip on VPForce Rhino with Z-curve extension | VPC CM3 throttle | VPC CP2 + 3 | FSSB R3L | VPC Rotor TCS Plus base with SharKa-50 grip | Everything mounted on Monstertech MFC-1 | VPC R1-Falcon pedals with damper | Pro Flight Trainer Puma OpenXR | PD 1.0 | 100% render resolution | DCS graphics settings Win11 Pro 24H2 - VBS/HAGS/Game Mode ON
Fran11player Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Want to point out as well that the altitud warner and the fuel range are yet displayed in feet and NM respectively no matter if you chose imperial or metric. Thing to fix. 1

Thing to fix. You can change this in general measurements option. Switch everything to Russian.
