Dear Eagle Dynamics bosses!

It's great that you're always bringing out new modules, which I'm sure bring in a lot of money, but PLEASE let your very talented employees (programmers) FINALLY get back to working on the main programme, which has seen more and more critical errors creep in over the last 1½ years of perceived stagnation!!!

It might help to be a little more specific about your areas of concern.

The mods constantly tell us that more than half the staff is working on the core, and there's no point of letting the various teams switch position.

Cheers!

I've been coming back to DCS lately and really enjoy some of their advanced modules.
Nevertheless I've also noticed that some core system bug has remained unfixed for many years.
One of them that concerns me being left aside for more than 7 years now.
I think there's a general tendency of the userbase to request less content now and to focus more on fixing and improving the core system of the engine and of some modules.

I see .. I flew the Hornet fairly intensively for over a year, and never encountered this bug as I almost never restart engines, so I can understand that fixing this is a low priority item. I'm pretty sure that more serious issues are fixed sooner.

Also, this is not a DCS core issue, but a Hornet bug.

If you restart a hot aircraft you’ll definitely encounter this bug.

What I meant was main/core module systems. But that’s not relevant to the subject.

I’ve just noticed lately that ppl are not happy with the technical state of some modules, maps, etc. And are more interested in having bug fixed and features implemented than having new products.

There is no sim without unhappy people. Every forum for every sim out there, is filled with complaints.

One does not cancel the other. Many people are happy to have both.

Some long standing bugs do get fixed usually unanounced and without fanfair just a line in the changelog.

I have created lots of DCS Train Mods and the wheels and valve gear bug not animating was fixed a while back thankyou 🚂  🚂  🚂

However It is frustrating that the Train Deactivation bug that has Trains floating off over the city or out to sea still remains a feature of DCS.

I just try to wait patiently for the fix so i can get my trains back on track one day in the UserFiles.

ED seams to like users to behave in a way that shows tolerance of delays, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious !

A big worry is " 🤓 Cfrag a Very Clever Major Contributer to DCS 🤓 " and creator of the fantastic DML that has not been updated for over 4 months the dml thread suggests DCS core  bugs became too much to put up with 😬.
