rayon89 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago DCS 2.9.20.15384 Hello, I would like to report that after the latest update I am experiencing a severe performance issue. The problem appears even before launching the game: from the moment the launcher is opened on the desktop until the initial screen shows up, it takes an unusually long time. Once inside the game, performance is very poor, with constant stuttering that makes it practically impossible to play normally. Before this update the game was running fine, so this issue seems directly related to the recent changes. Could you please look into this problem? Thank you. DxDiag.txt dcs.log
Raven (Elysian Angel) Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Did you clear the FXO and Metashaders2 folder? And while at it, it’s not a bad idea to clear the DirectX shader folder in Windows too. Those are solid first steps to start diagnosing problems… Spoiler Ryzen 7 9800X3D | 96GB G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo DDR5-6000 | Asus ProArt RTX 4080 Super | ASUS ROG Strix X870E-E GAMING | Samsung 990Pro 2TB + 990Pro 4TB NMVe | VR: Varjo Aero VPC MT-50CM2 grip on VPForce Rhino with Z-curve extension | VPC CM3 throttle | VPC CP2 + 3 | FSSB R3L | VPC Rotor TCS Plus base with SharKa-50 grip | Everything mounted on Monstertech MFC-1 | VPC R1-Falcon pedals with damper | Pro Flight Trainer Puma OpenXR | PD 1.0 | 100% render resolution | DCS graphics settings Win11 Pro 24H2 - VBS/HAGS/Game Mode ON
AdrianL Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago You have a lot of recompilation happening. And errors from your mods. Run a DCS repair and clear your FXO / Meta shaders. If that does not help, remove mods
Hiob Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Quite the opposite here. Noticeable better loading times and switching between map and views. (Game performance was already good). I disable all mods before an update though and haven’t enabled them yet. "Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"
