Hi guys,

 

I'm looking for some training and the possibility of joining a squad. I would really like one that has training or people just open to show me around. I've watched the videos and so forth but am not a great heli pilot. I also don't understand some of the mods. Can I put any of these in and still be able to fly online? And I see tons of weapons packages but how do I use them because in the sim I have never been able to change my payload. Thanks for any help

the initial Payload is setup in the mission...

If you want to try different weapons out, go ahead and open up the Mission editor, add in a KA50 with pilot skill "Player", then click on the Payload icon (lower right hand side of screen), and you'll see all the differnt pre-set weapon payloads you can set...pick one you like (or make a new one by right clicking on a hardpoint slot), then click the Blue "play" icon on the left hand side :)

yes, you can run mods with MP, no problems. Moding payloads by editing lua files will get you a bad rep in MP :)

Besides that, v1.0.1 adds a new file check feature that allow servers to check the integrity of certain client files automatically. So if you apply weapon mods you may not be able to join certain MP servers anymore.
