Learned to maintain a semblence of control over the Horny Hippopotomous and Graduated to a Manual Start-Up. Mastered the Manual Start-Up whilst suffering under the delusions that a sub-2min Manual Start of Frantic activity, Blistering Button-Pushing and Speed-Reading of checklists might somehow Impress or Lead to Heightened Enlightenment and Sense of Well-Being..........Not! Reverted back to the Quick-Start with the occasional dabble at Manual.......staves off the impending Finger-Cramp and attendant Mouse-Wrist whilst affording the opportunity to savour the finer things in Life.....A Cup of Earl Grey prior to wasting Armour. Eddie Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Manual all the way, I've never used the auto start and don't even know the key for it. Until they have auto start in the real aircraft I won't be using it. But hey, I'm just that anal.
