This has happened to me a couple times now. I'm on the taxi and takeoff tutorial, and it says disengage the parking brake, add a little bit of power, and roll forward. Ok i disengage the parking brake but no matter what I do I can't roll forward.

Make sure the parking brake is properly off; that's hard to tell from the screenshot.

In case you use toe brakes, fully press and then fully release both of them. Make sure the axis doesn't need to be inverted.

Or try the default "W" keybind for the wheel brakes when releasing the parking brake.

thanks as soon as I posted this I figured it out. what I had to do was fully press the toe brakes 'W' then press the 'release parking brake' button, then release 'W'. The toe brakes then popped all the way back up
